Dr. András Bittsánszky, research director of InDeRe Non-profit Ltd (Food Control Group) delivered a presentation at TRUE Legume Innovation and Networking (LIN) workshop held in Budapest, September 2018. The presentation focused on the role and popularity of legumes, i.e. beans, peas, lentils and similar plants as basic ingredients in public catering. In his presentation he revealed that children involved in school catering do not really like the meals made of legumes, although these meals have outstanding nutritive value and health-promotingrole.
